Safety at Vribe
Your safety and the vehicle's are our number one priority.
How we protect our community
Identity verification
Every user verifies their ID, passport or license through AI analysis. Selfies confirm you are the person in the document.
AI inspection on every rental
The AI inspection analyzes 8 photos of the vehicle before and after each booking. The report is sealed with a tamper-evident fingerprint and protects both parties.
Secure payments with Stripe
We never handle cash. Stripe is PCI DSS Level 1 certified — the highest standard in payment security.
Trust Score system
Every user builds their reputation with each booking. Users with a low score have limited access.
🚨 Emergency numbers in Guatemala
A problem with your booking? Write to us at support@vribe.app. It is not an emergency line: in an accident or theft, call the numbers above first.
What to do in case of an accident
1. Make sure everyone is safe. Call 110 if there are injuries.
2. Do not move the vehicles until the PNC arrives (unless they block traffic).
3. Document the accident with photos: vehicle positions, damage, license plates.
4. Exchange information with the other driver: name, plate, insurance.
5. Notify Vribe immediately through the support chat or at emergency@vribe.app.
6. The host must notify their insurer according to the terms of their Guatemalan policy.
Report a safety issue
If you experience or witness inappropriate behavior, fraud or any situation that compromises the safety of the Vribe community, report it immediately.
